Armpit Odour: a different solution
Is armpit odour something that bothers you? I may have an alternative solution for you:
The main cause of body odor is the breakdown of sweat by bacteria. Using an antibacterial cleanser will reduce the bacteria and therefore the odour.
Use your acne face wash eg. benzoyl peroxide, which exfoliates gently and doesn’t cause bacterial resistance: apply to underarms in the shower and leave on for 1-2 minutes before rinsing off.
Use your facial toner, with acids, after you have washed and dried your armpits. With ingredients like glycolic acid (an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane). Glycolic acid is said to help reduce the pH of the skin, making it harder for the odor-causing bacteria to survive. Another bonus is it will gradually even out any hyperpigmentation.
How to: Pour a bit of toner onto a cotton pad, and then wipe it over your armpit. It should dry quickly. Then layer on your deodorant
[NB: I would advise a test patch as it may cause irritation]
Have you tried any of these before? Or do you have any “unconventional” tips that have worked for you?
